Stage 4 - MATCHING

You may be assessed to start looking after children of a certain gender and age range. Over time as you are trained and gain experience there's always the opportunity to look at other foster placements such as;

  • Short-term / Long-term Fostering

  • Fostering sibling groups

  • Mother and baby placements

  • Children with disabilities

  • Emergency placements

  • Adolescents with complex behaviour.

Foster children are placed according to your abilities, skills and preference, their needs, your lifestyle and the needs of others in your household.

Matching children is important so we can give children them most stability possible. This is something we consider with great experience and care.
